Our Facilities
Howland Truss is a division of W.B. Howland Co., and both operate out of Live Oak, Florida. These annotated aerials map the truss plant and the building supply facility, labeling what each building does.
From framing to dry-in
Every truss starts as a set of plans. Howland Truss designs and engineers each roof and floor truss to the specific job, presses the steel connector plates at our Live Oak plant, and delivers the finished package to the job site.
The aerial photos below follow a multi-family project through the sequence a truss package has to hit for a builder to stay on schedule — bare wall framing, trusses set and braced, roof sheathing, dry-in, then siding. Further down, photos from the plant and yard show where those trusses get built.
Inside the Live Oak plant
Cutting, plating, and pressing happen in our own shop, and the finished trusses go out on our own yard equipment and trucks.
